These were purchased at the NY show in 2005 from a Thai vendor. It is a leafless orchid although occasionally I will get a very very tiny leaf form.

please tell me how you care for this orchid, i just got one and have little to no idea??

Hey there! Wow, you get around, don't you. I like the "busted up athlete" description. Don't worry, it gets better as you age :rollhappy:

These guys are pretty easy once established. They appreciate lots of light (same as Cattleya), but no sun. High humidity at all times is a must, though in the spring months you can back off the water a bit. Keep them warm, they are for the most part truly tropical plants - hence warm to intermediate growers.
 
Cool!!!

The growth of leaves means they are happy or that they need more light??? As long as I had mine (lunifera and another species that I do not remember) they produced at least 3 leaves, but I grew them under lights.
