Hello All
This is my first post here but almost feel like I know you all as I have followed the forum since a good while, anyway i flowered today this Charlie, it come from north Thailand,it is a bit strange small dorsal and all, even if i know there are many variant not often seen nor collected due to people asking for showy big dorsals whath you all think?

Welcome on board!

You are right, the dorsal is of a slimmer sort, which probably wouldn't make the flower candidate for an award in the eyes of orchid judges... But I like your flower, especially for its gorgeous and saturated colouring!

I agree, I have been in hurry to post it, and too fast to judge it, now look like a classic Charlie with slightly smaller dorsal... I like it a lot to be honest much better than more recent selections
