A winter blooming unifoliate Cattleya species with massive 20 cm (8 inches) blooms.

The petals are so big and heavy the midrib bends to the gravity, giving it a soft droopy look. On a smaller bloom in previous years, this droop was a lot less. But alas, is size or form better? That is the question.

A selfing of Cattleya warneri coerulea 'Do Suzuki AM/AOS (18.2 NS).

You cannot — can NOT — complain about this big juicy girl who’s come to entertain you in Canadian February. I won’t have it.

Leslie, that's a lovely flower, saying this even when the thread is in the wrong section. Lol
Some of us, epicureans, actually, do loooove both - and not only, when it comes to flowers! 😛 😛 😛

Jens, size isn't all......so I prefer a better form first - and not only when it comes to flowers. 😎 😎
