This walker is an offspring of ‘Perfect Blush’. This will be fun to use in a cross.

Always loved the shape of walkeriana but have had trouble growing them. I was told to grow them in baskets without media or on cork. They both died on me.

I grow them in Hydroton in clay pots and in the house. So far so good.

So how often do you water them when they are potted like that?

In the house in the winter I water every 4th day with no fertilizer. In the summer outside it depends on the weather. If it’s dry and warm/hot I water or mist every day. They like to dry out between.

I use SunBlaster HO T5 florescent bulbs with the reflector 6500K I believe.

Also, IMO if the pseudobulbs are shriveling over the winter they need more water. I don think they should be so dry over the winter.
