A stunning bright sunny yellow with no brown tones. Lip is scarlet red on white background. Huge at 18.2 cm NS by 18 cm vertically, it follows its ancestor ‘Walton Grange’ FCC/AOS (NS 19.5 cm).

Though form is pinched at tepals, the erect dorsal sepal and size make the flower look formidable.

My plant grown expertly by David Bryan (fellow AOS judge) in his GH. Thanks David!

I have yet to name it... maybe ‘Scarlet’ or ‘Formidable’ lol.

For some reason tenebrosa doesn’t usually catch my eye, but this one is spectacular! Maybe it’s the contrast of the sunny yellow with the deep purple. I would humbly nominate “starburst” or “starfish” or something along those lines as a clonal name.
