I LOVE it!!! It seems everything it is supposed to be! You should be proud!!!

Do you keep this outside year round?
Ha, ha, no way! I tried growing C. cernua a couple years outside and it was severely damaged after the first winter, and dead after the 2nd. The climate here is peculiar, having a mixture of both temperate and subtropical elements, such that it is a real challenge to grow cool temperate plants such as Cypripediums, and at the same time just as difficult to grow frost sensitive subtropicals like Paphiopedilums. I've learned the hard way to bring in all cold sensitive stuff, or suffer the consequences.

Outstanding Tom. I think the flowers are outstanding. The lip color is perfect...reminds
me of the Canhonkers that Jerry Rodder used to show quite successfully in CA and
won many awards. Tomp is right; I do love that dorsal.

I see that I'm getting the reputation for being fussy about sloppy dorsals. ;>)

Beautiful! I have been trying to resist this species, but this may make me break down…
