Sometimes two albas can produce colored progeny because:

1. the alba genes are located in different areas
2. one parent is not an alba, but rather an albescent or light rosada (pinkish).

Yes, the first explanation is called complementation in genetics. If I can find the photo of 'Hsinying', I can use it as an example for my genetics class!
