A mericlone just getting going now with its second flowering. It’s beginning to grow on me. Although this species is classified as a unifoliate, it’s a bit of an outlier with its unusual bunch of flowers.
It’s one of those plants that needs to get to a really good size before you see it’s full potential. This one is just starting off.

David, I like all C. maximas very much but this semi-alba clone attracts me especially. Gorgeous. 👌

Super nice! My maxima cærulea is popping open two spikes with four flowers each. I think my plant is bigger than yours, from what I can see, but you've got more flowers on your spike!

Well bloom David.

The correct cultivar name is ‘La Pedrena’ SM/JOGA.

What can one so, but entering the chorus of enthusiasts! Such gorgeous flowers!

In one respect, though, David, I beg to differ with your own opinion, as I think one can clearly see its potential! Where you might be right, is in stating, that first by growing it to "a really good size", that potential will be fully realized ;) 😁
