Purchased last year from the Little Greenhouse in Maryland. Small little plant that I have yet to repot. This is its second blooming, it continues to amaze me every time all these little buds emerge from the smallest growth. If only ALL my Cattleyas would perform like this.

What’s fascinating is the inner lip. If you open it you will see a myriad of orange patterns that’s almost psychedelic!

So Cute, floriferous! Are the blooms fragrant? This is a plant that’s been on my wishlist!

I have this Cattleya species too, very nice and reliable bloomer in the spring (only blooms in the spring for me). It also has a lemony like smell.
