Second flowering of a mericlone from Petrens orchid nursery. It is still available.
This is their catalogue description:
Flowers: A magnificent clone of the white alba form result in a very large flower with perfect symmetrical lip and petals.
I am not going to argue with them. The plant is on its third growth with me and is developing quickly, although not yet fully grown.
The clear sweet scent of gaskelliana is also evident.

The Chadwick’s tell us that some of the alba clones of this species were and are outstanding and clearly had a big part to play in the development of the modern hybrid whites, especially the foundation grex of Bow Bells.

Beautiful blooms and amazing culture, congrats! You can definitely see echos of this in bow bells, so cool!
