From Orchids Ltd. In 2018. First bloom for me. When I repotted, it accidentally divided so it struggled for a while.
If you were in the US and I wouldn’t get arrested for shipping it, I’d be thrilled to share.Glad it regained its composure, Belle! I can only wholeheartedly consent to David's succinct appraisal... And, hmmm, maybe the other half of the division could find its way to me?!![]()
Dear Belle,If you were in the US and I wouldn’t get arrested for shipping it, I’d be thrilled to share.
Jens, I did not realize that CITES was limited to species. Makes sense, somewhat. But you are right. I’m sure for what shipping would be, you could find a nice one in your general area. Thanks for the info.Dear Belle,
It was just wistfully thinking on my part - I gather postage would be rather costly, and maybe the plant would need a phytosanitary certificate, etc.But your generous, welcoming welcoming attitude is never the less appreciated!
But for your information: it's a manmade hybrid and only species are on the CITES-list (I suppose naturally occuring hybrids might be counted the same as species). So no reason for you to go to jail!
Most kind regards, Jens
