Blue version of a popular big Catt hybrid. I got a piece of this plant from another society member at one of our picnic/auction events last summer.
I don't know if I have enough space to turn this into a big specimen plant.

Catt Portia regularly pitches up at our autumn show and not only towers above the other Catt hybrids but in many cases simply out classes them for flower quality and number. Not bad for a 1897 hybrid. You must post some photos in a few years time when yours is a specimen plant. Hopefully, by then digital cameras will have advanced to be able to capture the blue of these coerullea types.

I love the coreulea cattleyas but coerulea cattleyas don't love me back, somehow they always die on me XD That's a gem of a plant you have! :)

Very nice! My Catt. bowringiana coerulea just finished blooming with three spikes. I think I need to add a Portia coerulea to my collection!
