Thanks everyone... appreciate the comments.
Nice growing Phred. Beautiful blossoms. Where do you live in NJ? I'm from Brick myself. Any chance you are a member of DCOS? Joe S.
Hi Joe S
I’m in South Jersey not far from the entrance to the Atlantic City Expressway. I am a member of DCOS and can’t wait for them to start having meetings again.
I’m still impressed with your walkeriana culture. I hope to achieve the same one day as I’m starting to procure some cultivars from Brazil.
Hey Leslie
I’m always looking for good walkers so let me know when you find extras... lol. I have several good crosses at a lab in Hawaii and look forward to growing them out in the future. I may need a greenhouse just for my walkers... Lol. I’m interested in starting/becoming part of a walker club in the USA if anyone has any suggestions.

Oh my, I want one just like this! It's gorgeous. I'd love to have a couple...this one and
perhaps a Pendentive...just for balance, you know. Any recommendations for a place
to purchase?

Fred, I’m getting divisions from Orquidário Americana. Please check their FB below and contact Heloisa, the owner. They ship regularly to US.

Their walkerianas are the best of the best, specializing in walkerianas with ‘teardrops’ created by the petals above the column. This is called ‘feiticeitinha’. My collection will focus on these types. See pics below of them from their nursery:

Of course the teardrops are very rare and prices reflect that. But you can try to get crosses with them and try to bloom one out.

Group orders from Brazil can save on fees. Others include BV and AWZ.

Angela... Other places in US to get them include H&R, OL, SVO, Andy’s, C&H, Fuchs, Diamond, Springwater etc.

Always good to try Redlands when it reopens. I saw many walkies there (other Cattleyas too).

Leslie, I attended Redland some years ago and broke my credit card. I enjoyed the
show, but I won't go that overboard again.

I familiar with Carter and Homes from many years ago and will take a look. Thank you.
