Here is a beautiful standard cattleya hybrid from 1964 and it would have made a great cut flower if only it had been made 15 years before. And here is a good trick when a plant is going over the pot "walking out of it's pot" you can simply drop it on like in this case and get 2-3 more years without disturbing the roots.

I will have to post a picture of this in a few days the yellow in the lip is almost completely gone and then it is what was called a "Royal" in cut corsodge orchids a pure white flowered cattleya.
