I've had this bulbo for seven years and it usually just puts out one or two flowers each year. This year I'm happy to see five flowers all blooming at the same time. I grow it in a shallow bonsai pot with a layer of fine bark on the bottom and a layer of sphagnum moss on top. The blooms have a pleasing fragrance that's hard to describe, although my husband thinks they smell like bleach!

The blooms are just magical! I picked one up last March at our local show, but it hasn’t bloomed yet. I don’t really know enough about them to guess when it might bloom. But after seeing @MyGreenPets’ Medusa in bloom, I grabbed one while I had the opportunity.

It might take a while to get established. Mine did but once it was happy it grew quite steadily. I grow it in a shallow dish with a bottom layer of fine bark/perlite and a thick top layer of sphagnum moss. Other people grow theirs on mounts but I don't seem to have much luck with that method. Good luck!
