This one is in the section Lepidorhiza. The p-bulbs are close together but the plant is large with leaves up to 14 1/2" /36 cm long and 2 2/3"/7 cm wide. The flowers open successively along an inflorescence that can reach 18" /45 cm long. The species name comes from the lumpy outgrowths on the labellum (caruncules).
It hails from the Philippines.

Nice, I got one in spike but I doubt it will be that nice!
 
Here's a pic of my orthoglossum. It has 3 spikes going this summer.
Similar but not as nasty as carunculatium.


 
Very nice, everyone. Thanx for posting. Ron, are those the leaves of the plant in the first photo? They look kind of like a Masdevallia.
