It started blooming, so now I sit here and wait for it to turn purple... ... ... ... ... ... Is it done yet?

It's still white, but slightly darker since I turned out the lights in the greenhouse.

It does indeed. It is supposed to anyway. Before it wilts, the flowers are supposed to develop neon purple fringe, like this...

I will keep you informed of the progress.

I have another plant that does this too. My Bllra Tropic Splendor 'Golden Gate' AM/AOS blooms with brown spots, but over time, they turn bright purple. I believe this is one of the plants that parented the Smile Eri, but I could be wrong.

Whats the genus on this? I can't always remember what the initials stand for.

I believe it is Beallara (Brassia x Cochlioda x Miltonia x Odontoglossun)
I'm not smarter tho, just googled it.
