I love these too. Mine don't seem to like to be transplanted, they always take a couple years to flower if I move them around in the garden. Enjoy!
Mine have been up and blooming for months and already have seed pods on. I'm making a hybrid (B.striata 'Margaret Truemen' x 'Sweet Lips') so a Tipo x a simi-alba I'm existed to see the children in a few years.

I’m in 6b. and I have yet to plant mine outside. I keep them in a well house all winter potted up. They start putting up shoots early March usually and I have frosts up through the middle of April. (Especially this year). Mine usually double in size every year except Tri-lips, I’ve noticed my variety isn’t very vigorous. Striata has been blooming 2 weeks now. Ochracea is a good 3-4 weeks from blooming and tri-lips probably a week or two here in SE Mossouri.
