That's why I got out of growing these. They are so susceptible to scale, and once it starts, no matter what I did, it seemed to pop up again. Good luck with yours!

That's a beautiful Makai -- I've never seen one that dark.

That's gorgeous, Ron! makes me miss my Maikai too... it was growing nicely, then suddenly succumbed to black rot at the rhizomes... promptly died... *sniff*
