Assistance please

Would anyone be able to locate the awards description for these two
plants. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I do not have access to the
AQ.

Paph. adductum v. anitum. 'Ace' AM/AOS

How was adductum var. Anitum awarded by the AOS? That doesn't seem like it follows the rules. How can you award one plant but ignore other ones of the same species?

Since the taxonomists created anitum as a variety under adductum, it is legal in the eyes of the authorities since adductum is legal. If it was listed as previous under simply anitum it wasn't legal. Stupid, but true.
