I though I posted this yesterday...not sure if it went through. Its only in a 1.5"
thumbnail pot...bloom is nearly as big as the cactus...caught me by surprise, as I've had it for years and usually ignore it...also don't expect that many cactus flowers at this time of year, or cacti with that color.....Take care, Eric
 
I have several Ariocarpus, most in 2 inch pots, I will have to look at them more often.
I really thought A. agavoides was a big plant like retusa. Guess it can bloom really small.

No, this is in the very front of my window greenhouse...stays there all year..I don't like to put spineless cacti outdoors, as the squirrels love them..regardless of whatever alkaloids the cacti supposedly have, doesn't stop the squirrels from taking a bite. I put it in my light garden for the photo, as i took it at night. Take care, Eric
