I got this from Louisiana Orchid Connection 8 years ago. It kept growing, but didn't flower until this year. I changed a couple things, and some of the changes might have induced the first bloom. Link to my blog post.

The stem of my plant is about 25cm long, but I'm guessing it probably could have flowered much earlier if it had had a right cue.

Angela, yes, it is fragrant. It is fairly pleasant, but not as good as others, I think.
