I truly appreciate the kind words, guys. Yes, it helps to have great inspiration. I've got a handful of really skilled grower/photographer friends who are happy to supply me with a bunch of jpegs when I need them, but there's nothing quite like blooming and working from one's own plants or after finding them in situ. The connection is so much greater. Not to mention, I don't paint everything I see, but I like to have all of the visual information and distill things from there. You just can't do that with photos alone...it comes close if you've got A LOT of them to work with.

WOW!! Your work is awesome! Thanks for showing us! Love the coastal walk- reminds me of walking on the beach with my mom and sister!!
The orchid is hauntingly beautiful! Great work!!
