Lefty Kei (William Ambler x sanderianum) is past the critical stage! The first photo was taken on thurs. The second about 24 hours, I just love this unfolding stage! Now if only I were a better photographer, there are several neat details to the flower!
48 hours later, I expected the petals to seperate more, instead the dorsal is opening up & the second flower is unfurling. Are my photo skills improving? gee ... all one has to do is take it off the macro feature!
Actually macro should be better for closeups like that, unless you're not using a tripod, in which case you might cause more blur from not holding still enough while in macro mode.
