I don't usually like phals other than the schillariana types but seeing your pollychillus phalaenopsis I'm really thinking about getting some.😁

I saw one almost identical for sale for $49, but looks can be deceiving. Claims fragrance. No description on fragrance though. Says Magenta but seems to lack the “pow” yours has

This looks like the grandparent violacea indigo (parent of Samera).

Fruit loop smell isn't that bad. Have you smelled bellina before? It's from that other grandparent.

Novelties are wonderful, with dramatic colors and fragrance. Plus they bloom continuously from perennial green spikes.

Do try one or two!
