Hi All,
Hoping to draw on the collective knowledge of the group. I have a plant blooming out and trying to confirm if it’s label is correct. Labeled as a Fox Valley Fireball. It is very pale as you can see from the pictures. What do you guys think? I like the bloom and just wanted to see what the group thought.

I think not - there's not enough "point" to the pouch.

I agree with Ray. The shape and color is off for Fox Valley Fireball. The shape is a more significant indication that it is not Fireball. I would be curious to hear what @tomkalina thinks.

Whatever it is, it is lovely. I like that more rounded pouch and the soft color!

Not Fox Valley Fireball. Where did you get it from? I've seen something similar before.

Doesn't look like the typical Fox Valley Fireball color although the color could be pale due to elevated growing temps? I'd also expect a somewhat longer pouch and darker pouch orifice markings on an FVF. Here's a photo of Phrag. Fox Valley Fireball 'Cherry Bomb' AM/AOS for comparison.

I actually think I picked up here. Possibly as part of one of the auctions. I am not upset just trying to figure out what it is.

I have been looking at it in comparison to my division of Cinnamon Fire (also in bloom now). The pouch is a bit too round and closed. The color has been pretty consistent even on last year’s blooming.
