Phred, they are all lovely. Are all flowers at the same age? If so, the differences in the dorsal's colouration are features of these different plants.

Very nice! I Like the variability in this species. Same View at my place at the moment!:D i Love helanae season!

Very nice, Phred!

My one and only was all set to bloom for the first time until I broke off its bud on Sunday. I got tired of waiting for it to bloom (2 yrs) and repotted it into 100% NZ tree fern fiber, which did the trick.

Love these, great color! Now if only I could get mine to bloom....

Thanks everyone for the kind comments. Sorry for the delayed responses...

Hi GuRu
These are all the same age and the ones in the photo are siblings.
Impressive. All from the same cross?
Hello SlipperKing
All siblings in this photo.
They are lovely!
How much time did you have to wait to see the flower? My helenae is in low bud and I was wondering how much time it take for the bud to open 🙂
Thanks
Hi Anca86
My helenae usually take 2-3 weeks... maybe a little longer from beginning to end.
Phred, what size pot do you have them in?
Hello PhragNewbie021
Most of my helenae are potted in 4” clay pots ... maybe 3” deep.
