Hi everybody,

I have two Paphiopedilum appletonianum which do not resemble too much.
What are your toughts?
LE: After looking carefully at the leaves and in the books I have, I realised that I mismatched some labels šŸ™ƒ

Highly likely the first one is vietnamense. The HCM has wavy leaves and darker markings. Delenatii has oval rather than round leaves.

The second one looks like some of my appletonianums, but not the hainanense types (which has lime green leaves with dark patterns). Leaves can vary much on regular types based on conditions.

Of course check against your purchase list and then when it blooms. Good luck!

Thank you! I shall do so.
