    Family of Appletonianums

Picked these up from PaphParadise while I was in California last month in buds… all spikes developed nicely albeit short as all young first bloomers.

Blooming after 2 years of sulking lol. Once I moved it cooler it was happier. Not full album due to the brown warts and tan pouch rims. Still a striking flower with the white wings. Likely still expanding as it’s open only for 2 days. Now a synonym of Paphiopedilum appletonianum fm. viride.

    Paphiopedilum amabile alba (syn: bullenianum)

This one came in bud from Tokyo Dome show. Kinda small and floppy. But rare enough to keep. First bloom seedling from Popow. There’s an unbloomed second seedling that may have better flower in future lol. In a 4 inch or 10 cm pot.
