    ID needed for Phrag -

Hi all, I was hoping I could get Guido Braem, Olaf, or another taxonomist to chime in here with some help on a verification of ID. This plant was brought to a flower show, awarded a CCM of 82, but there were questions to its identity. The grower claims that it is pearcei, photos were taken...

    Help with Gongora ID.

Foolishly the tag was written in sharpie, rather than pencil and the name is long gone. I had taken a guess at Gon. rufescens, but I'm out of my league. Anyone have an idea?

Paph. Barbara Glancy 'Principessa's Probably Hanging' AM/AOS

Go ahead. Say it. I'm thinking it too. So with that said, all of the Barbara Glancy's I've seen all bare the trademark characteristics of hangianum. The other one awarded is even more hangianum-esque. Barbara Glancy supposedly is malipoense x Mem. Larry Heuer. This was taken to the Paph...

    Paph. Harold Koopowitz

First bloom. Delayed post, but it was from a few months ago. (roth. 'In-Charm x malipoense 'Fragrance')

A few Catts from the past few months...

Some highlights from what has bloomed out the past few months. This is beginning the fourth year where I've had a hand in working with the Rutgers collection, and we're starting to see some results. C. Alice B. DuPont 'Waldor' HCC/AOS on left and what we believe is Wendy Patterson on the...

Paph. St. Swithin 'Principessa's Yellow Streamers' AM/AOS

I've been lazy with posting pics, so Ill try to dump a few on everyone for a bit. First up, this St. Swithin just got the AM a few weeks ago. Second blooming. Up from four to five flowers and form got fuller. After judging...

    Paph. armeniacum 'Principessa d'Oro' AM/AOS

This was a nice one I thought I'd share. I took it to judging on this blooming, this past March, and it got a 83 AM. Not only a beauty, but a great grower too that has survived multiple moves and new growing areas of the past 5+ years, now very happy in the greenhouse. Enjoy! :) And a...

    Cattleya Nancy Off

Another one that you see quite a bit in the Northeast, but for good reasons. Got three spikes with four flowers each this year, finally. There is usually always one spike with three flowers.

    Cattleya Harold Carlson

Colors are nice but form is less than desirable. Smells nicely too.

    Orchilla 'Chilton' FCC/AOS

Had to check, but this was awarded an AM in November of 1971 and them upgraded to an FCC in January of 1973. Still is a good flower, hopefully will lose the color break next time around. Came from Ross as well.

    Paph. Jack Tonkin 'Robin' HCC/AOS

An oldie but goodie I got from Ross about a year ago. Thanks Ross!

    venustum v. measuresianum

I picked this up at the NCOS's Paph Forum last year. It has no black dots on the petals.

    Paph. Shadow Magic x henryanum

Not the most spectacular thing, but it grows like a weed and flowers enough to keep it around. Found it about 6 years ago at a Home Depot in Philadelphia. Sorry so blurry, I thought I had a better photo.

    Two Phrag. Cape May County

Counties? Here are two from a flask I got three years back at the Longwood show....well maybe four years at 2008. Theres a shot of besseae flavum in there that hopefully will show up more in future generations. Both flower in the same 6"x6" compot with five other sibs. Small plants, charming...

    Paph. charlesworthii

A charlesworthii cross I got from from Joe Kunisch about two years back. This year was the second blooming and with no glitches.

    Neo. falcalta var. yubae

I got this at the Longwood show this past year from one of the foreign vendors. When it first opened I was sorely disappointed at the color that was promised in the picture and price. A week later it turned around!

    Correct subgenus divisions

That I've seen, Kew doesn't list subgenus or section with the classification info. Is there someplace that has an up-to-date list of this? Thx!

    Paph. Rory Jones

Here is another guy blooming at the moment. Hard to get a good shot of the color, but here's my best go at it. It's not the best blooming, but this is the fourth blooming in 22 months. He puts out, so he can stay.

    Hsinying Macasar x Pulsar

So it's (Macabre x Pulsar) x Pulsar. Again, not the best pics, but here they are. :)

Anyone have these Orchid Digest articles??

Hi everyone, I am itching to get my hands on a couple of articles from Orchid Digest. All about C. trianaei. If anyone has got these and a scanner I can't tell you how grateful I would be. Ernest Hetherington wrote an article in 1971 (volume 35, pg. 36) "Cattleya trianae, its varietal forms...
