    but I just got back from the NY Botanical Gardens Orchid show and I didn't see ONE SINGLE Paph in the display. :mad: I am so disappointed. I know that today is the opening members only day, but if anyone has gone or goes and spots Paphs, can ya let me know? I'll be going back there next...

    Ta Daaaaaaaaaaaa!

    Here is my collection of 1 paph. It is finally in bud. I'll try to upload a couple of photos. I promised myself that I would buy more only after this one bloomed. It's been almost two years! I have no idea of 'her' identity, but will update this thread and hopefully when and if she blooms...

    OMG! I think she had a bud!!!

    OK, OK, now what do I do? Is there a fertilizer equivalent to a pre-natal vitamin? I thought it was a new leaf yet again, but it seems to be a bud.....after 18 months. I promise to find my camera and figure out again how to upload photos. I am soooooooo......nervous. :eek:

    Since I threw away the ID

    Can anyone guess the identification of my orchid if I describe it? The dorsal sepal is light green with darker green striping, the petals are purple with dark purple raised spots and the lip is mahogany. The leaves are mottled. Is this enough info to get at least a bit of id?:confused:
