    Paphiopedilum stonei

Great job growing and blooming those! This species goes on the ever growing list of Paph species that mock me by not blooming for me (adductum is right up there on the list too). I blast them well enough, but no flowers! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

"dying" plants to get different flower color

A lady that I work with got one, thinks it's great, and offered it to me when it's done blooming (I'm the office orchid rescue center!!), then got offended when I declined. They look like an abomination. I might be able to stomach them if the blue color was at least even......the one she has...

    anitum

Ok, that just makes me plain sick.......with envy!! All I can seem to do with adductum is blast buds. Oh well, I suppose I can just bloom it vicariously through others.

    Paph kolopakingii var. topperi

Interesting is a polite way to describe the smell. Mine is in flower now and the smell reminds me of some of the more unpleasant smelling bulbophyllums!

    Paph ID

I'd say charlesworthii definitely is in there. The shape and distribution of the spots suggest henryanum may be in there as well. Can we get a pic of the plant?

    Nick Tanacci liquidation sale

I'll be #2 for your deal. Getting some of everything is more attractive to me. I really don't care about getting a "$1,000.00" stud plant since, with all deserved deference to Nick, means nothing until it's awarded. Besides, I already have an HCC on a cross I remade some years back (Paph...

Dog owners take note! (and cat owners for that matter)

It's not just toys that you have to be worried about. I had a dachshund that swallowed a half of a pecan. Didn't show up on x-rays or mri. Vet poured a dye down his throat and saw that the dye stopped at a certain point in his intestine. The vet opened him up, ran the bowel with his hand...
