Mislabelled? Waunakee Sunset or Barbara Leann x self?

I picked up this plant a couple years back at auction, and now that its in bloom, I'm thinking this particular plant is a selfing of the Barbara Leann 'Hot Hot Hot' parent. Just wanted to confirm with you folk, so I can confidently 'rebrand' this phrag ;) What do you think? I know fischeri can...

    Paph. mastersianum

I grew this one from a seedling for about 3 years. Still only a single growth, but thankfully that didn't stop it from blooming!

    Phrag. Elfin's Luxury

Here's a first bloom on a single, mature growth of Elfin's Luxury (also 1 new growth). Very happy with it, thanks J-P!

    Disa uniflora

This one I've had for a couple years and has done really well, throwing out new growths everywhere. Happy with the outcome, but the stem is rather short, likely from growing in higher light.

    Coelogyne lawrenceana

I got this plant last year and it started to spike a few months later (June). It only now decided to finally bloom. I thought paphs took a long time to bloom until I waited this one out!

    Den. spectabile

Here's a first flowering for my dendrobium spectabile I picked up a couple years ago as a large seedling. This plant, of all orchids I have in semi hydro, has outperformed all others in terms of growth & vigor in that media. Most all of my dendrobiums do well in S/H, but this one takes the cake...

    Phrag. besseae var. flavum 'Charlie'

Here's 'Charlie' that I got from John M a couple years back. First flowering for me
  8. Dandrobium

    Phrag. reticulatum

I picked this one up at our local show this past spring. I grow it the same as nearly all my other phrags, in semi hydro by a bright east window. 15F drop at night down to 60F or so. It just opened up a few days ago.

    Paph. fairrieanum

This bud was a few months in the works, but it was worth the wait. First bloom on a single growth, so needless to say, its getting lopped off soon. It would be nice if there were multiple growths/starts, but nothing yet.

    My medusas

The habenaria has been opening up successively for a couple weeks now. The bulbo I never even noticed until a few days ago when it was almost ready to open up! First bloom and only one bud, but I'm happy to be able to see it.

    Den Peng Seng

Here's one I picked up this spring at our local show. Peng Seng is a cross between cruentum and tobaense. These seem to do well in semi-hydro for me

    Den cruentum

This is a recent acquisition that I've had for a few months now

    Peruflora's Angel

I got this one a couple years ago as a large seedling. It has since turned into a bit of a shrub, putting out new growths like there's no tomorrow. This is its first blooming, which I'm happy it bloomed, but I'm holding out for better flowers. I do like the pouch though!

    Disa uniflora 'N54'

So I kept the buds from blasting, but that's my only feat with this one. Just got it last week :p I've got a smaller D. uniflora (normal red kind) that has been growing well for me so I thought I'd pick up another! The color is hard to describe, its kinda peachy/pink, I think. Sepals are...

    Phrag. Elfin's Elegance

I got a division of this from our society meeting last fall. Not sure who put it up for auction, but I couldn't pass on it ;)

    besseae 'Carlisle'

So its almost fully open, but I couldn't wait :) Quite pleased so far as it is already branching for me on my first blooming. The heat has been incredible recently for this time of year, so I think this has had a bit of an effect on the colour. I will update as time progresses. Overall, very...

    Dendrobium tobaense

My favorite den :p And one with his buddy:

    Phrag. pearcei

I find this one nearly impossible to keep the leaves clean. I keep my fertilizer very low, and alternate with Cal-Mag, but it inevitably browns from the leaf tips. I grow it semi-hydro, but I believe it may do better with smaller sized LECA.

    Paph. callosum

First bloom callosum for me. Its a cute little thing
  20. Dandrobium

    Phrag. lindleyanum

I picked this one up at our local show. Cannot take credit for the bloom
