I got them from Exotic Plant Company in the Netherlands. Michael only has a few left. They are doing very well after repotting in my new mix. Expected next week from Thailand, more P. helenae aureum and other Paph's. + some others I pre-ordered.

Mine were LEGALLY imported as seedlings from Thailand in to Europe with CITES They may be illegal in the US, but not in Europe, with the necessary papers.

I envy you a bit. Over the last days we had a serious heatwave here with temps over 42°C Many of the buds on my orchids just blasted, including some P. helenae. Your pics shear me up a bit

We're having a heat wave at the moment and plants suffer a lot. Can't bring the temps down enough. Also the colors are the same as in the first pics on the plant. must be the lighting outside.

I got mine in this week from Exotic Plant Company (Netherlands, Europe) this week. Seed grown, app. 4 years old. They ship to the US but Cites etc. must be approved in the US. Repoting and info video on my YouTube channel next week.

In my opinion, Paph. rungsuriyanum is quite recently discovered and due to ravaging it's habitat for illegal sale in Asia and other world countries, it should not be crossed with anything but the same species at the moment. This way we can guarantee the survival of the PURE species in captivity...
