I can finally grow my stonei in big clumps

I remember there is a slippertalk member, paphioman (if I remember correctly) showed his very huge stonei flowered every year. I was attracted by his plant and tried to touch on this species few years ago. After trial and error, I can finally grow my stonei in a big clump. Happy to see their...

    Paph. gigantifolium

7 flowers plus one pre-matured bud. A quite nice flower count and quality clone.

    Paph. randsii

This is the first bloom for a seedling made by Mr. Tsai of Choiyi. A tiny single growth plant produces 3 flowers. It is always lovely to see a blooming randsii neglecting its flower quality, at least for me.

    Paph. intaniae

First bloom on a single growth. I am glad that it seems to be a nice clone.

    Paph Gemstone's Randschild

It is not a commonly seen primary multi hybrid between rothschildianum and randsii. I love this one as it looks like a bigger version of randsii and most importantly, much easier to raise as compared with randsii. Of course, this one is a selected clone that I bought with high price so that...

Bud watching for two uncommon multi floral species

Can you guess what they are? I think the bigger one is easier as compared with the smaller one.

    My monster kolopakingii var. topperi

After one decade, I can finally successful to raise this tree from one growth to a big monster clump and it produces a total of 23 flowers to me this year. 8 flowers for 2 spikes each and 7 flowers for the remaining spike. I wonder whether I can get a CCE on this plant under such condition. 😆

    Paph. haynaldianum var. laurae?

I bought this plant 3 years ago from Wanchao Orchid nursery Taiwan and Mr. Chan said that it is a selfing of a forest plant many years ago. It is the second time for flowering in front of me. I doubt it is an ordinary haynaldianum but when I compare with the photo labeled as laurae variation...

Paph. kolopakingii var. topperi - A monster plant

After trial and error, my topperi, which has been growing for 9 years from one flowering growth, finally adapts the new environment of my greenhouse and starts to grow vigorously. The tip of the old leaves has a bit burnt due to strong sunlight given before. However, after putting it under...

    Big and small

It is interesting to put gigantifolium and rungsiriyanum together, that gives a shocking visual impact to the magnificent size different to that two paphio species. Enjoy the comparison photo and the flower photo of gigantifolium itself.

    Paph. rungsiriyanum

An uncommon world smallest paphiopedilum species with intense purple coloration. Enjoy.
