    A different Red Wing

I don't know your plants but my "Red Wing" is particulary NOT vigorous... And I thought several times I lost it! Not yet ready to bloom.

    A different Red Wing

Hello, What are the news about this plant?

Paph. rothschildianum (‘New Horizon’ FCC/AOS x ‘Raptor’ GM/JOGA)

Are you sure the right plant is Raptor? It would be a division of this famous plant? I don't think. Maybe "just" a cross with Raptor? https://cdn11.bigcommerce.com/s-jk4n0k63rn/images/stencil/1280x1280/products/6778/4752/PAS0647 Paph. rothschildianum 'Raptor' 97pts GM JOGA__18872.1613442717.jpg?c=1

    Paph.rothschildianum 'Mont Millais' flask

Thank you Justin! MM well cultivated is awesome and more charm in my eyes than many OZ last crosses. The worst in my eyes with the OZ selection is the too width petals.

    Paph.rothschildianum 'Mont Millais' flask

Right David. The best compromise is probably MM x "last generation good clone". I would prefer that to "last generation" x "last generation". But as it's almost impossible to buy a MM division, it's interesting (in my opinion!) to have a good selfing of it in a collection. Just to remember what...

    Paph.rothschildianum 'Mont Millais' flask

2 things it's necessary to not forget: 1- the quality of growing conditions (and the culture secrets!) are very important for the quality, size and even color bloom. Tarantula bloomed in the past with 39cms dark flower by the TON. I'm almost sure 95% of roth. lover in the world (me too!)...

    Paph.rothschildianum 'Mont Millais' flask

Difficult to compare plants from several generations of selection to a wild collected plant. MM and its story will be always in my eyes an extraordinary clone because "made by nature". (Like some other very good too but less famous) If you choose MM selfing, you will obtain probably some...

    P. St.Swithin 'Yellow King'

Nice but not maximum potential because just divided. Mine was in spike (5 buds) too but I cut it because it was not well rooted. Take care it and you will see in some years what ist the real potential of this wonderfull StS. ;-)

    Is this a roth?

    Spicerianum

    Yes!

    Phragmipedium Pink Panther

Bought to Jerry Fischer in 2012. Not an easy plant in my growing conditions but I finally succeed to bloom it.
  16. F

Lowii 'New Horizon' x 'Grand Masterpiece'

Normal size but you can be happy with it. Nice color, good stance and shape.

Lowii 'New Horizon' x 'Grand Masterpiece'

Nice but what's the flower size? Sam did this cross to increase size with the clone GMP.

    rothschildianums 2018

MM is my dream since a long time. A piece of history and a very big charm, very more than many current selected clones. You're very lucky with this plant. Keep it preciously.;)

    Some roths.

Old school roths but I like this style too! Do you have cross names please? I just see "Perfect Circle x Higlander".
  20. F

    Paph. rothschildianum 'Strider'

Yes, it's a very very nice roth.
