    Cattleya maxima first bloom seedling.

I really like this one. The colour is very even, the flower is large and the petals are held well and symetrically.

3 clones of Paph. lowii fma. Aureum

I saw a photo in a book over 20 yeara ago of what looked like a jungle lowii fma. Aureum. I wanted one so badly, it hurt. Finally, a few years ago, they started being available in the trade. WooHoo!!!!

A gorgeois clone that grows fast and blooms reliably! I love it! 😄

    Paph. delenatii 'Charlie' AM/AOS

$250.00. This HUGE-flowered, beautiful delenatii got an 84 point AM/AOS when it was pulled from my display at the 2018 SOOS show. This division is BS for delenatii; but, it's about half the size that is normal for this particular clone. This clone produces BIG foliage and BIG flowers. Pick...

    Long time......

Hi everybody! I've been MIA for a long time. Just busy and distracted by "life". Looking forward to participating here once again.

    Paph. Hsinying Citron

This plant belongs to my friend, Fran. It's been open for a couple days. I expect it to flatten out a bit more. These hybrids can take a week to open fully and then they'll last for up to 3 months. I think this flower looks great now and it has LOADS of potential for future blooms.

    Disa uniflora v. flava

Had this Disa recently come into bloom under lights in my basement. Growing in a 6" clay community pot. Seeds were sown in September 2016; so, just 22 months from seed sowing to bloom on this one.

    Cattleya mossiae v. flamea

This Cattleya mossiae does not belong to me. A friend has grown it for a few years; but, it kept producing sheaths and never blooming. I offered to give it a vacation in my greenhouse for 3 or 4 months to help it trigger into bloom. This is the result.....9 flowers on 5 inflorescences.

    Paph. tigrinum 'Dana'

I've had this a long time and finally learned to grow it dry to keep it happy and get it to clump up. However, this year, when I saw it had 4 flower spikes, I began watering more. Shouldn't have done that! Arrrrrrgh! Only one made it to blooming! Ah well, next year I'll be more brutal and...

    Paph. hangianum 'First Class Charlie'

Nearly lost this plant a few years ago. Put it into a 6" hanging basket a couple years ago and it perked right up!

    My Javas

I have ALWAYS wanted a pair of Java Rice Finches; but, literally for decades, I kept doing the "sensible thing" and I put off looking for a pair. Besides, I like the regular form and the pure white form; but, I'm not so keen on the pied form and most you see nowadays are the pied. Anyway, I...

    Cattleya percivalliana 'Summit' FCC/AOS

This is a division, not a clone, from the original, awarded plant. It always opens a few days before Christmas.

Cattleya labiata v. semi alba 'Charlie's Angels' HCC/AOS

A recently awarded clone (a division from this plant was awarded last year).

    Cattleya jenmanii v. Fantasia 'Charlie'

I FINALLY tried joining postimage.org and the URL from photos I upload to that site work. I have no idea why the URLs from photos on my own site suddenly won't work...while the old ones I posted still do work. ??????? Anyway.....Here is something really special. It's Cattleya jenmanii v...

Paph. Hamana Med x Jollix Land ..... GREEN!

I bought this over a year ago in bud. Loved it! This year, it's only got 5 growths and 3 are in bloom. I crossed this plant today with pollen from my barbigerum v. album 'Albino Beauty' AM/AOS in an attempt to produce easy growing/blooming very compact plants with relatively BIG Green flowers!

Paph. barbigerum v. album 'Albino Beauty' AM/AOS

I got this from Sam last month. I didn't realize it would arrive in bud. Yay! I've just crossed it with pollen from a lovely Paph. helenae v. album. Plus, I also put pollen from this plant onto the green complex Paph. that I also just posted. Now, I wait..........:)
