    Phragmipedium Harry Nagata

Very nice! Looks like a keeper.

    Paphiopedilum Transvaal

Nice to see this again. I had one in my collection many years ago.

paph kolopakingii var Giganteum x paph haynaldianum, paph. Julius, phrag Peruflora's Cirila Alca,

I particularly like the Paph kolopakingii x haynaldianum. Nice flower count, too.

    Help in identifying this phragmipedium.

Well I guess we can safely say that the tag is wrong as those are all Paph. names and this is obviously a Phrag.

    Michigan Orchid Society Spring Show

Anyone have details about the MOS (MI) Spring Orchid Show? I believe it’s this weekend. Thanks, Paphluvr

Paph. New Edition x Ice Castle

I’m not normally a fan of complex Paphs, but I like this one!
  7. Paphluvr

    Paphiopedilum lowii

Very nice flower and the plant looks very healthy, too. Well done!

    Variegated Phrag.

Interesting that the stripes are on the same side of the plant, not the same side of the leaves (right side of one, left side of the other).

Guaricattonia (C. Jose's Freckles x Grt. Why Not)

Very pretty flower and nice, compact, plant.

    Prosthechea spondiada

Very pretty flowers, and that looks like professional quality work on the photography.

    NOT fischerii

Whatever it is it’s very nice. Frustrating though that it was mislabeled.

    Phragmipedium Eugene Banziger

You mean now that they’ve seen how nice they’re turning out. Very nice cross.

    Lycaste Support

The only Lycaste reference I have in my library is a very old copy of “The Genus Lycaste” by J. A. Fowlie, M. D. It was copywrite 1970. It might still contain some useful information.

    Rosemary surprise

Reminds me of jade plants. Here in Michigan we grow them indoors as an ornamental. Years ago I was attending training classes in Pasadena, CA. There they grow them outdoors as hedges with stems the size of my arm.

    Rosemary surprise

I finally brought my potted rosemary inside after a few frosts. While watering it I noticed that it had what appeared to be buds. A couple of days ago it finally bloomed. What a nice surprise and totally unexpected.

    Paphiopedilum victoria-reginae

This one should be blooming for a long time. I have a Paph. Salvador Dali (Paph. liemianum x victoria-regina) that looks almost identical to this. It carried flowers for >1.5yrs.

    Madame Casiello #2

    I’d be happy with that!
