    Weird mould/webbing on my phrags

Hi Ray, thank you for your response. The plant has been in that medium for a couple of weeks only, prior to that it was bare-rooted for a few weeks, in an attempt to control the issue. At this stage, I have repotted the plant at least three times, in different media (it was in bark before), and...

    Weird mould/webbing on my phrags

Hi everyone, Some of my newly-purchased phrags, but one in particular, seem to be plagued by some sort of mould or webbing that develops in the medium, and has an unpleasant odour. Initially, I did not pay much attention to this, and put it down to a new brand of sphagnum moss I was trying out...

Paph. Callosum - to divide or not to divide?

I have had the plant for a year. I repotted it in Orchiata, so it should be a year or two before the medium needs replacing. I might transfer the plant into a slightly larger pot, and top up the medium around it. On a separate note, for those of you that use Orchiata, how often do you repot?

Paph. Callosum - to divide or not to divide?

Thanks everyone for your replies. I was just taken aback by the number of new growths and I was worried that the plant may be running itself to the ground.

Paph. Callosum - to divide or not to divide?

Thanks for your reply. I also prefer specimen plants, I am just worried that the two new fans in the middle might not develop due to lack of space.

Paph. Callosum - to divide or not to divide?

Hello, My paph callosum var. thailandese has just finished blooming and has now put out four new growths. I am slightly worried that four new growths may be too many for a two-fan plant to support, and that there may not be enough space in the pot. I have attached some photos - one of the new...

    Phrag Fritz Schomburg Sulking

Thanks for your reply! From memory, the leaves on the main fan looked less floppy prior to the repot, and that is my main concern. Hopefully the new growth will power on and I won’t have to worry about the main fan. Thanks again!

    Phrag Fritz Schomburg Sulking

Hello, New member here! I was hoping that someone might be able to help me with my Phrag Fritz Schomburg. I purchased this plant a few months ago, it came in good shape, with a flower spike that continued to develop for a while, but blasted just before blooming. I then repotted this plant...
