Here is a seedling purchased from SVO a few years ago. I really never figured I would get anything awarded after growing for 48+ years. I was never too motivated to take anything to the judging center as they were always too far away and I simply enjoyed growing and flowering many different...
These two are flowering in the greenhouse today. Pot Loud Nine and a cross with Pot Loud Nine as the pollen parent...I didn't take a photo of the tag...maybe later.
Registration submitted and accepted today. These are the photos sent to the RHS.
I posted the first bloom earlier as CA913. A few more picts today in natural light. It appears to
be a successive bloomer with 2 flowers and 2 buds currently showing. Three more plants currently in spike!
Here is the first bloom from flast CA913 - Phragmipedium Jordan’s Peach Tango x kovachii ‘Peruvian Dream’
There are a few more in bud so look forward to seeing the variation in the first few.
I used to grow quite a number of Paphs...it's been too many years. Decided this one had to come home with me. I am so glad I decided to take the plunge!
Another gorgeous phrag. in flower under lights. Phrag. Waunaukee Sunset 'Cherry'...thanks to Chuck Acker for finding a division for me a couple of years ago.
Here is one from SVO breeding. Blooming for the second time.
When I get two or more flowers on it, it goes to judging. It
could be my first award...we will see.
Here is a beautiful, fragrant little thing...wish I knew what it was. Had a tag but faded beyond reading.
Too bad. The color and stance are quite good. The pict has not been modified except to make it smaller.
Here is one from my collection that I grew from a flask I got a few years ago. This is the first to bloom and I am not displeased! It has rounder segments and is flatter than many I have seen.
Here is another gem from Roger's collection that decided to open up today. The natural spread is about 14 cm but the plant is still fairly small. I am sure it will do nothing but improve as the plant continues to grow.
Thanks for looking!
Here is another one from Roger's collection that is currently flowering. No tag so I asked him what it might be. He said 'rescue from Lowes'...still a pretty Maudiae type flower.
