Paph (Mary Zdilla x Little by Little 'War Eagle' HCC/AOS)

Another lovely mini from Ross. Got this one as a small plant a few years back. This is its first bloom.

Paph. Wossner Zwerg (Barbigerum x Helenae)

This little guy came from Ross a few years ago and is a very reliable bloomer. Really like the form and color of this primary. And it's really taken off this year—four new leads, so I'm hoping for multiple blooms next year.

    Phalaenopsis Liu's Fantasy

Haven't been on here in a while, but have some phals that are spiking and starting to bloom. This is Liu's Fantasy. Started this one as seedling several years ago and this is its first bloom. There was a second spike, but unfortunately it blasted. Happy holidays!

Paph. Wossner Ministar (Helenae x Henryanum 'Bear' SM/TPS)

I got this first-bloom seedling in spike from Ross, so I can take no credit for blooming it. That said, Ross may regret sending it to me, because it is absolutely stunning. :poke: The picture is not great. I like to photograph in natural light and this was the best spot at the moment. I'll...

Laelia jongheana 'Diamond Orchids' x 'Elena' HCC/AOS

After becoming [obsessed] inspired by Stone's gorgeous jongheana, I had to find one for my own. As it turns out, these are not all that easy to find, but I was lucky to obtain a nice healthy seedling with two leads from Peter Lin. You can always count on him for fantastic quality plants! Now...

Look what arrived in the mail today—a tiny paph. delenatii var. vinicolor! Car key for scale. ;)

    Paph. Wossner Zwerg

I got this little guy from Ross exactly one year ago. It's quite a vigorous plant—already has five growths—and the flowers are wonderful. I'm really looking forward to growing it into a nice little specimen plant.

Paph. Niveum FMA Alba x In-Charm White

Not my favorite flower, but a vigorous grower and profuse bloomer—it had 9 flower spikes earlier this year! Its enthusiasm for growing and blooming is really the only thing that is keeping it from being replaced. ;)

    New addition to the family!

While visiting the Austin orchid show this weekend and perusing the typical showy phalaenopsis and cattleya varieties at the vendor tables, I found this lonely little gem for sale — Phalaenopsis Violacea (True Blue Love x Blue Chip). Major score!!!

    Two New Fragrant Phals!

Just got these two babies in the mail from Peter Lin at Big Leaf Orchids. Both are very fragrant! Please excuse the terrible photos... they were mailed to my office and I just unpacked them. The flowers are a little crumpled, but I totally wasn't even expecting them to be in bloom, so I am very...

    Paph. Psyche

I picked up this paph as a seedling a while back. This is its first bloom. There is a second bud on the inflorescence, but it hasn't opened yet. I'll be sure to post another picture when it opens. Overall, I'm really happy with it! Nice shape and love the speckle pattern.

    Phalaenopsis Schilleriana

Long time lurker, first time poster here! I wanted to share a couple photos of my Phal. Schilleriana in bloom. I bought this as a seedling and it's still a fairly small plant, but I'm impressed with it's first bloom. I'm sure it will be stunning when it's more mature. And the scent is heavenly!
