First time flowering for me! First kovachii hybrid in my collection! Unfortunately it opened while I was away and was starting to degrade by the time my daughter and I could get it photographed. Sara staged it with my Paph concolor to get an idea of size.

This is the first time this plant has flowered in the fall, usually it flowers in the spring. Perhaps the repotting and dividing interrupted its usual routine. The flowers are quite chestnut colored this time, flowers in the spring are pink! Photo credit to my daughter Sara!
