Photos are of blooms Feb, 23; Nov., 23 and today. Very variable, but the one thing that is consistent the yellow comes far down the lip, which is what apparently makes this plant special. Original division from Waldor.

Waldor Awarded Division 16.5cm NS. This is a spectacular flower. Every time it blooms it takes my breath away! It has a slight flare that didn’t photograph well
UPDATE: Two more flowers opened.
The largest Slipper Orchid gathering on the East Coast—don’t miss it. In person or virtual!
NOTE: Sales Tables are closed during Program Sessions. Box lunch included for
pre-registered in-person attendees. Email [email protected] with any questions
I created a new post so as not to hijack Leslie’s quadricolor post.
I just recently purchased this from Christofferson. My first quadricolor. It’s supposed to be much less cupped as well. I was drawn to the ‘rarity’ of it and its history. It is in spike, so we’ll see. Here is his description...
Amazing flower even though I wasn’t home when it opened, and being against the wall kept it from flattening some. Original from Waldor. I moved it to more light and the flares are wonderful this bloom. They are on all three sepals as well as petals. I see why this has an FCC. Not to mention that...
Interesting plant. HUGE bud. We’ll see…. Last bloom was also a large bud and flower was unremarkable. If it’s the same this time it might be time to find this a new home. . UPDATE: second photo shows bud now. It is now 7.5 cm x 5.5 cm! I tried to put up a ruler for perspective, but it doesn’t...
I just received this and looked through it once. If anyone is interested, it’s yours for the cover price £17.95 minus 10%. In US, I’ll ship free. $20.00.
This is the company that bought all of Hadley Cash’s Complex Paphs, seedlings etc. they now have a website up, although they explained it is just beginning and not complete.
They are CITES certified to ship outside Canada. Some nice offerings already.

Well, glory be! I’ve figured out the mystery of getting an orchid you’ve been growing for 5 years with no blooms to bloom! Ignore it, except for water and offer to give it to a friend!! I finally gave up on this one and just this week offered it to a friend. Fortunately I never heard back...
This is a division of one of Hadley’s wonderful light pinks. The best one I could afford. It has bloomed beautifully before (first bloom for me) with good color and size. Didn’t bloom last year. Can anyone tell me what this is on the petal and dorsal? I’ve had one other Paph do this a while...
Original division from Waldor. 15 cm NS. Still a ways to go to the FCC awarded to Stewart’s with a 20cm NS. Still a whopping big flower and pleased with 3 on the spike.
Love this one! Second bloom for me. First time 1 spike, 4 flowers. This time 6 on one spike!! Most flowers I’ve ever had on one spike. Second spike forming.
First bloom seedling I just got from SVO. End of bloom and with being shipped a little ragged but I just love this sweet thing. We’ll see if colors stay as clear next bloom in my environment. Fingers crossed. First photo is Fred’s post on July 30 showing this flower fresh. This is the plant I...
