    Fred A Stewart Orchids

Actually Steve and his wife moved the operation to Natchez Mississippi, not Alabama. And indeed they were forced into foreclosure or something similar. Unfortunately, several of us had a few hundred or thousand seedlings there that they were growing for us when that happened. When I was last...

    Cypripedium calceolous

I would just plant it in the gound.. And BTW.. I "lost" a parviflorum in the refrigerator crisper for TWO YEARS and it didn't kill it -- but the slugs got it this summer. AMAZING.

Canon Rebel Line - Who's Got One?

Interesting to hear about the flash problem. I still have the "oldie original" first model and everything works fine, after schlepping it all over the rain forest in Costa Rica. I have used various Canon SLRs for years and I like their cameras. I know what you mean about the costs of some of the...

    Hello from balmy Minnesota

Would like to make the show but thats a lot of extra miles to drive Yes, I heard the show was being relocated and that sounded like a good idea. It looks like I will be driving through Iowa near the show date. It would be tempting to detour over to the show, but after driving all the way from...

And BTW Allen - I was actually in Lincoln last year when Lorna got the AM on that Lutz Rollke I sold...

The Slipper Orchid Alliance needs photos for the next issue of the newsletter, which will be used to illustrate an article by Helmut Rohrl. I am specifically searching for high quailty images of the following images of species from the Coryopedilum section of Paphiopedilum: platyphyllum...

    Hello from balmy Minnesota

I am not entirely new to the forum, but I haven't had time for the last two years to acquire yet another obsession. I am already aquainted with several people on the forum. I am a vendor who operates a very small commercial orchid growing and hybridizing business. I retired from my job as a...
