    Mystacidium venosum

That's a shame Naoki. That plant appears to have good roots and the blooms are beautiful.

    Orchid import gone wrong...

For a reasonably stated CITES explanation read ORCHID FEVER by Eric Hanson and skip all the "official language" that is confusing and often contradictory. The whole book is a fun read too.

    Waunakee Sunset 'Cherry'

I'm looking forward to the blooms on the new plants. I've run into that red tag problem a few times. Tough decision...eat or buy orchids.

Phrag. Perufloras Cirila Alca 'Fox Valley' (d'alessandroi x kovachii)

Lovely soft pink and a good form considering the heat this summer and the on again/off again alternating dry/semi-drought and then days of clouds and rain. Been one hell of a summer so far.

    Phragmipedium Red Lightning

The pouch freckles are my favorite attribute of these flowers...also the very graceful shape.

    Mystacidium flanaganii

Another lovely! The white ones that you've posted seem to sparkle.

    Waunakee Sunset 'Cherry'

I just remembered that it has bloomed. The first bloom was a wonderful peachy color with very nice form. It has a fairly large new growth now and I'm looking forward to the second blooming. I had to go to the gh and look before I "remembered".

    Waunakee Sunset 'Cherry'

Lovely Phrag. I have Asuko Fischer 'Waunakee' x Waunakee Sunset 'Cherry' that hasn't bloomed yet. I very much hope it looks like your bloom.
