That's sad, you miss all fragrances! Tried nettie pot nasal flush?

    Aerides odorata

Naoki, it is definitely not Aerides krabiensis, which is pink and has a flat disc lip. Your proposed ID of Aerides odorata is most likely the correct one. Mind you, its quite a pretty color version with contrasting yellow lip mentum/tail.

    Helenae

Nice... what mix do you use? Coarse bark? What is that tiny plant in 1 pm position in the second pic?

    Paphiopedilum hermannii

My opinion is that this was a natural hybrid that has stabilized in its ecotype and subsequent speciation. The pink pouch is a dominant feature of henryanum and passes on to all its hybrids. Or this could be a variety of henryanum. A DNA study will confirm the relationship in the future.

    Paphiopedilum Leeanum

This is nicer than the one we recently awarded. This has a darker spotting on the dorsal as mentioned above.

Want a couple of kilos of helenae? :)

That is indeed a tragic scene. Plants ripped out of the habitat in chunks, looking like the entire populations were taken. Since we don't know the full story, there are 2 possible scenarios: 1. the failure of CITES locally 2. the plants were saved from deforestation Let's hope that it was the...

Yours bloom before mine so you're doing a great job!

    Thaianums

The many thainaums I have seen have variable leaves from mini to longer like the ones here. That last flower might be tainted with some niveum? The reason is that I have never seen a thainaum with spots spread across the petals, a characteristic of niveum hybrids. That coupled with the extra...

    Paph. stonei

Pruning is not an issue if new roots were coming out at the same time. Maybe it was wrong season to repot?

Paphiopedilum rothschildianum 'Golden Boy' AM/AOS x 'Giant Wings' GM/WOC

    Laelia xanthina

    Love it! How's the fragrance?

    Rlc. Princess Shasta

Nice one. Looks like strong purpurata or warscewiczii in the background. So may need higher light to get more frequent bloomings?

    ID please

You will never guess unless you have a list to eliminate contenders. It could be anything.

    A precocious walkeriana

'It does what it want to' lol. It looks like you have many robust walkies in the background. What culture you have for them?

    Sophronitis cernua

I will show mine your flowers to coax it along. 'Carrot' is slow this year.

    Cattleya violacea alba

I am always amaze at the different species you can bloom Istvan, under one roof too. Kudos for really great growing skills!

    Cattleya maxima coerulea "Gigi"

'Hector' and 'Gigi' were the original jungle plants to produce the myriad of maxima coeruleas we have today (me thinks).

    Habenaria Regnieri 'Rubenesque" AM/AOS

Stunning presentation. Way to grow it that well.
