I would love to hear how you grow this. I've managed to overwinter a bunch, and now see some new growth emerging. Curious about temperature ranges light and moisture. Thank you!
Welcome - I'm new here too but thought I'd say hi. I lived for two years in Croissy sur seine near Versailles and Saint-Germain-en-Laye and it was awesome
I beg to differ - those 8" long spurs are mighty sexy if you ask me :poke:
Actually they've hybridized angraecum with phalaenopsis (an unfortunate random pink hybrid, instead of something fascinating like Phalaenopsis hieroglyphica) to produce "something" that has pink...
Thanks again for the warm welcome. Great to see so many international members as well as canucks :) Heya Wendy glad to see you here too - maybe I'll pick up a slipper or two at the SOOS show coming up.
Slipper-free, I'm afraid, but maybe hanging out here a little will give me the bug. Thought I'd share in case any Canadian growers out there were interested in trades or pollen.
Aerangis arachnopus
Aerangis articulata
Aerangis biloba
Aerangis brachycarpa
Aerangis distincta
Aerangis fastuosa...
This is such incredible news - will the collection be on display in Montreal? I will have to make a trip there to see it when it arrives. Super excited.
Hello all,
New to this forum - thought I'd check things out a little and say hi. Not a slipper grower, I'm afraid - mainly grow those 'other' orchids. Hope to share some knowledge, talk to you experienced growers, and have a bit of fun. Cheers!
