    Hoàng Lợi Orchids Nursery

Right on man thanks. Interesting how it has so much K and some people get good results on basically no K. Maybe in 50 years some kind of comprehensive understanding will emerge regarding fertilizer. 😆

    Hoàng Lợi Orchids Nursery

Hey Guru may I ask what is the manufacturer of the blue grain liquid fertilizer? I understand you are in Germany interested to see what the nutrient breakdown is. Trying to find a label for it.

At some point I read on here a grower burning their roots and advising toward Nuticote instead. I used Florikan but probably over dosed and under flushed and ended up losing some plants and severely weakening others.

    Paph Season 2024

From what I can tell your light levels appear more than fine. Thank you for providing the link to the other thread for your fertilizer. I believe Ray is correct in stating that if you fertilize according to the instructions... the Nitrogen is a whopping 140,000 ppm. What is very strange is you...

What a great point regarding Chlorine, something else to consider would be Sodium in one's water as that can create ion toxicity at low levels. At what point these minerals become toxic to Paphs if measured in PPM I'm not sure. Thank you for the resource link for the garden hose filter! I...

    Calcium loving Paphiopedilums

Hey slipper lovers. I came across a website that purports the following regarding calcium loving paphs: " CALCICOLOUS PAPHIOPEDILUMS Calcium is an important mineral for the growth of some Paphiopedilum species. Adding calcium to their supplement routine is recommended. After much research and...
