    So I treated it twice with the copper octanoate spray, first time 1.5 % secondtime a few weeks later 2 %, witch is the highes recommended concentration of the product. It both worked good and the plant is doing well.

    No, I grow in nearly pure bark, just added a bit sphagnum for water absorpition reason. Normaly all species from the subgenus polychilos grow well in not too moist substrate. And they love bright light. Brighter than the average phalaenopsis then they are doing quite well.
