    Paph Hello Dolly

Second flower bloomed. Bit of a white blotch on each flower’s pouch that I hope goes away next round, but overall happy with the result!

    Paphiopedilum micranthum var eburneum

First time blooming this guy. The flower stayed in sheath so long I got worried, 😂

    Paph Hello Dolly

First blooming on my Paph Hello Dolly (Doll’s Kobold x thaianum). Another flower is on the way.

    Paph Fanaticum

The avatar is actually the previous bloom on the same plant.

    Paph Fanaticum

It was around mid August when it was clear that it was going to flower. Like malipoense, it took its time before things really got going. It was in full bloom around the beginning of January. That’s too bad about yours. Hopefully they start behaving themselves!

    Paph Fanaticum

I’ve had this one for at least 6 years now, and unfortunately the original tag has been lost in that time. I think it was an eBay seller, though. Sorry!

    Paph Fanaticum

It is! This particular one is a good grower (windowsill culture), and reliable enough for blooming.

    Just finished blooming.

    Fanaticum Bud and Roots

Haha, I mean, it isn’t fully transparent. One could say translucent as well :P

    Fanaticum Bud and Roots

It’s going to be a bit of time on the bud, but I am really pleased with these roots! About a year ago I transferred all my paphs to semi-opaque plastic, and they seem to really like the change.

    Paphiopedilum Hawaiian Flight

    Love the colors!

    Peruflora’s Cirila Alca

Hahaha that would be a colossal failure.

    Peruflora’s Cirila Alca

Finally got the black matte background to work. Flower spread is about 4.25 inches.

    Peruflora’s Cirila Alca

Thanks! I noticed that it turns out to be a really hard color to photograph accurately. Black backgrounds didn't seem to work very well, at least with my phone camera.
